Beverly Hills pet shop

This is a pet shop I was hired to remodel in Beverly Hills, CA. The design is pretty basic with mostly raw lumber and simple concrete floors. The old floors had been covered in very rough slate that was finished with glossy sealer. Not ideal for a place getting a lot of hair and dust bunnies. I removed the old tile and sealed the concrete floor. Gave the place a paint job, furniture was built for it and I rebuilt the stairs to match. Glass was installed to divide what became the doggy day care in the back and the place was ready to go. These simple improvements took the place from being dark and dingy like an old hole in the wall antique shop (great for antiques, not great for pets) to a bright welcoming neighborhood pet shop in the Beverly Glen Circle Shopping Center.
